Queen Sofia Spanish Institute in New York presents the rich history of Spain's regional dresses in combination with the monumental paintings of Valencial artist Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida through a beautiful exhibition curated by Oscar de la Renta and Andre Leon Talley. The exhibition will feature more than ten paintings and over thirty rare pieces of traditional spanish outfits and accesories for men and women, combined with overwhelming creations by Cristobal Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Stefano Pilati for YSL, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Marchesa, showing Spain's great influence on fashion.
