Digitaria F.W 2011-12 Collection

The latest presentation of the new collection of Digitaria by Eleftheria Arapoglou, was more astonishing than i imagined while heading there. Held at Kunsthalle Athena, the hypest culture spot of Athens,as part of the 4Fashion/Shake Festival and full crowded by anticipating guests.
There was more than heat and excitement backstage..

Designer Eleftheria Arapoglou, a few minutes before the show

In this avant-garde presentation, the performers were kept hidden under cocoon shells, slowly revealing their outfits.

Eleftheria's pieces are based on really great tailoring, with exaggerated shoulders, puffy sleeves and slouchy lines, made of wool, fine silk, organza and leather with lace effect and quited detailing, while the colour palette is kept quiet with basic colours like black, grey and touches of light blue and red.

Highlight of the collection: the astonishing masks and cyber shoes!
