Video footage from the controversial editorial of Mert & Marcus for Love #6 F/W 2011 issue, especially due to its resemblance to an older shooting by Jeff Bark. However, i find the story really astonishing, with extraordinary colours and a really clever usage of bondage, which is probably becoming the next big trend.

Daniel Silver for Acne Studios

Daniel Silver is teaming up with Acne Studios for a new capsule collection inspired by the artist's incredible African sculptures, who's studio also inspired the set of the brand's A/W 2011-12 show. The collection consists of approximately 60 fully coloured pieces for men and women, including shoes and accessories. This special collaboration will be celebrated with the launch of a new video in October, while a big exhibition about Daniel's work will be held on the same month at the Dover Street store in London, as part of the Frieze art fair.

White Nights

I really can't stop watching over and over again this new gorgeous video for Oh Land's new single. I don't know if it's for the great optimistic tune, the hundreds of fabulous costumes, the brilliant set designs or the beautiful locations, but i think it's a masterpiece and i'm sure you'll love it, too.

Miu Miu Sneakers

Miu Miu is launching a brand new sneakers collection in addition to the Fall/Winter collection 2011. Made of iconic materials such as arabesque lame, patent leather and velvet, the Miu Miu sneakers are decorated with glitter, metal tips or appliqued crystals, turning them into the hottest sparkling accessory for this winter. They all come in various colours like blush, silver, gold and black and will be available to purchase online and in all Miu Miu boutiques starting from August.

Bold & Beautiful by Tos Kostermans

Bold and Beautiful is an amusing painting series by Spanish artist and illustrator Tos Kostermans. All his surrealistic images feature famous people in humouristic situations, most of them involving money and sex, winking slyly to the viewer. Scarlett Johansson with a gun pointed at her, Silvio Berlusconi's car getting washed by two hot chicks, Paris Hilton having a party in the metro and Keith Richards with an elderly groupie in his hotel room are some of Kostermans' hilarious and ironic stories. Victor & Rolf Resort 2012 Collection

For Resort 2012 Victor & Rolf are getting inspired by the doll silhouette creating an adapted to human scale line that could make Barbie jealous. A-line dresses, flared legs and high-waisted pants lead the collection, which is also complimented with four styles of trench coats with shapes and fabrics that make them wearable for day and night. Rich hues of denim, electric and sky-blue stand out from the collection, brightened up by subtle tones of crispy white, cream, ivory and bold yellow. As for the accessories, feminine high heels and chic bags in bright colours are the big hit, with the updated versions of the Compact Case and Just in Case models in the leading roles.

Elza Jo

As i'm always on the hunt for new creative artists, i'm so excited to have just found out the work of photographer and filmmaker Elza Jo from Amsterdam. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Arts in Hague, Elza uses her photographic lens to capture her three favourite subjects, her friends, her cat Rico and Elza Jo herself turning them into mixed media artworks by using handcraft techniques such as glitter, markers, embroidery, staples and lots of glue, instead of digital retouching. From what you can see, the result is a surrealistic approach to the artist's inspirations, where femininity, romance, violence and gore make a humouristic, colourful, sparkling blend that poises between real and artificial. Elza has a rich portfolio that many would jealous of and her work has been widely exhibited in major cities like Paris, Amsterdam, New York City and Miami, also featured in many big magazines like Cosmogirl, Dazed Digital, Elle, Nylon, Vice and I Love Fake.
