Kosuke Tsumura is a designer and artist from Saitama, Japan. After working with the Miyake Design Studio from 1984 to 1994, he started showing his personal line and showcasing it in Paris since.
His sculptural designs are a mix of futuristic elements, sometimes grotesque and dark, with unusual materials such as plastic tubes, wires or even computer parts.
His work has been featured in several exhibitions around the world and he has gained really important awards, like the 2nd Prize for the 21st Contemporary Art Exhibit of Japan.
His personal fashion project is called Final Home based on a multifunctional coat, inspired by the homeless, Kosuke's vision about the future urban styling. His line is called Mother and is complimented by a variety of jackets and suits with hoods and dozens of pockets.
