Jone Nielsen Fall 2011 Collection

Jone Nielsen is from Norway and has just finished the Oslo University College with a Major in Fashion & Textiles. Although young, his collection is quite mature and well done and seems it's going to make quite a sense in the fashion world. His Okinawa collection for this Fall is all about loose jackets, harem pants and skirts for boys, styled with pearl strands, turkish hats and flowing pashminas.

Y-3 F/W 2011-12 Campaign

 Inspired by books such as Jack Kerouac's On the Road and John Krakauer's Into the Wild, the new collection of Y-3 deals with the great escape, travelling and the importance of journey, not the destination.
For this collection Y-3 presented two new breakthrough fabrics: Cool Max Wool, a breathable wool with an evaporative cooling system, and Diaplex, a wool herringbone bonded to Goretex that molds itself to the body, becoming like a second skin.

Chanel Couture Moments

Recreating the famous Place Vendome, Karl Lagerfeld presented one of the most spectacular Couture collections in the history of Chanel. On a sparkling asphalt and in nocturnal atmosphere, the models walked wearing tulle masks and boots like seamed stockings, showing the various features of the new allure. Androgynous lines, rounded-shoulder jackets, peplum skirts, backless dresses and blouses and three-piece suits were the basic silhouettes of the collection. The variety of materials was precious: mixed-yarn tweeds, silk crepe, organza, satin, tulle and lace with rich embroidery, adorned with pearls, feathers or jewelled buttons. The colour palette was kept mostly in dark colours as black, anthracite, purple and navy with shocks of white and fuschia pink.

Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2012

 A behind-the-scenes video from the luxurious Resort collection of Salvatore Ferragamo at the James B. Duke House. The Thirties-inspired collection is as luscious and glamorous as the House's legacy, with wide pants, long blazers, floor-length dresses and mariniere tops teamed with black, astonishing, oversize hats.

Victor Antonio

Victor Antonio is an awarded Canadian digital artist, currently residing in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston and has a bachelor from the Northeastern University, specializing in graphic design, fine arts and photography. His digital collages are a fascinating mixture of fashion images and bold underground graffiti with a different view on beauty and glam. He has a really rich portfolio and has worked as a creative director, art director and graphic designer for the past thirteen years with big iconing companies such as GAP, Coca-Cola, Apple and Levi's.
