Viktor &Rolf Monsieur

There were two keyphrases that i spotted when reading the Viktor & Rolf press release for the S/S 2012 Monsieur Collection: creative man & sexy intellect, that i think describe best the Viktor&Rolf men's sartorial view for the next season. Obviously inspired by mid_70's, the collection offers a fine selection of lean jackets, James Bond-like tuxedos, funky shorts and an amusing palette of ivory, khaki, mustard yellow, terracota, and radiant blue.

I first met Oliver Rath's work through his collaboration with the Pappbrille glasses and really caught my eye...His images are an excellent combination of art, lifestyle and fashion photography with that exquisite and sarcastic Berlin style. Nude and drugs are often his highlight themes in a different, more colourful and humouristic way, perhaps disturbing or provocative for some, but definitely high art.

I don't think i should say something more about Oliver, i think his pictures should talk about him...

Diane Von Furstenberg is going colourful and playful with her new Pre-Spring collection for 2012 with this amazing presentation. A rock n' roll decor of white speakers and cute black graphic sketches on walls and floor compliments in a unique way the relaxed, bold-printed and funky-accessorized garments.
