Dream The World Awake - The Film


After his recent gorgeous backstage video for A.F. Vandevorst, Tim Lebacq presents his new project, this time for Walter Van Beirendonck's Dream the World Awake exhibition at Momu in Antwerp, one of the hottest exhibitions of this season in Europe. Based on Lebacq's personal impressions, this film is the best presentation could ever be done for such a big fashion and art event. I never thought that a short piece could describe an exhibition so vividly. This guy is a magician.

New Miu Miu Store In Tokyo


Miu Miu opens its new flagship boutique in Tokyo, in the Ginza Echogoya district, one of the world's most exclusive destinations. This is the brand's eighteenth point of sale in Japan and the seventh in the capital. The 530 square meters avant garde-style store is designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi and is considered one of the most luxurious and impressive fashion spots in Tokyo. Three levels, a 13-meters crystal damasque facade, a steel and crystal door and feminine furniture along with beige carpets and brocade curtains are some of the basic characteristics of this amazing area that hosts all the latest collections of Miu Miu. Luxury, preciousness and elegance, all in one place.

BLK Denim


BLK Denim is the latest project of Johan Lindeberg, former CEO of Diesel, launching online since February 2011. The BLK Denim home is based in downtown New York in a modern flagship store and project space for creative collaborators, holding events and special exhibitions regurarly. The line is mostly about denim for men and women, inspired and designed for the contemporary independent consumer with great biker jackets, cashmere sweaters and high waisted pants along with a special accessories selection and a culture magazine called BLK Denim Gazette. Some call Lindeberg the Tom Ford of downtown New York. I think they're right.

Giorgio Armani's new design vision is interpreted in an impressive and powerful building at via Manzoni 31, a world of harmony and privacy for the visitor, with 95 rooms and suites. Absolute luxury.

Joaquin Sorolla & The Glory of Spanish Dress

Queen Sofia Spanish Institute in New York presents the rich history of Spain's regional dresses in combination with the monumental paintings of Valencial artist Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida through a beautiful exhibition curated by Oscar de la Renta and Andre Leon Talley. The exhibition will feature more than ten paintings and over thirty rare pieces of traditional spanish outfits and accesories for men and women, combined with overwhelming creations by Cristobal Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Stefano Pilati for YSL, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Marchesa, showing Spain's great influence on fashion.
