Vionnet Spring 2012 Pre-Collection

The House of Vionnet presents its new pre-collection for Spring 2012 with a special mix of ethnic hints from India, Japan and Africa. Designed by Rodolfo Paglialunga, the spectacular collection features neo-geo prints with fluid and structured lines in the brightest colour palette of coral, blueberry, ochre, peony, sand, black, ivory and dark blue.

The collection consists of day-to-night pieces from tops, pants, blouses, skirts and lightweight coats to sexy mini or floor sweep dresses with the deepest-than-ever necklines, all made by fine materials like silk, crepe, georgette, organza broderie anglaise and cotton satin with a fine decoration of sparkling big pailletes or coloured beads.

On a Bank Holiday

Although today it is a Bank Holiday for Greece, with empty streets and low traffic, i had to chance to spot two gorgeous, ultra-stylish girls at our partner's shop, Remember Fashion.

Chloe Sevigny in casual shorts and lovely top was the surprise of the day, kindly posing for Fashion Installation.

I'm so much in love with checks in menswear fashion.. John Lawrence Sullivan by Arashi Yanagawa collection for the upcoming winter is based on a brilliant combination of Brit checks with that dinstictive element of male chic. Gorgeous classic jackets and trenches paired with slim, loose or even flared pants, with blue, red, beige, grey and a hint of black in one of the best menswear collections so far.
