House of Holland Pre-Spring 2012 Collection

House of Holland presents its first Pre-Spring collection for 2012 with this amazing video by photographer Mariano Vivanco, a fresh new take on Neneh Cherry's famous Buffalo Stance, featuring model Eliza Cummings. As for the collection, it's all about funky colours, stripes and lots of fun.

Animation Prada

A great animated short film by fashion illustrator Lara Costafreda featuring a few looks from the Prada S/S 2011 collection. Just brilliant.

Acne Resort S/S 2012 Collection

Swedish brand Acne showed its Resort S/S 2012 collection first for the first time in NYC. For once more the concept was great: a huge stage studio transformed into a David lynch - inspired surreal room within a room. The place was crowded, 200 guests from the world of fashion, art and architecture, with Garance Dore, Taylor Tomasi Hill, Tom Guiness and Peter Marino among them.

As for the clothes? Amazing as always.. A joyful colour palette with bright blue and orange, neutrals and printed off-whites with some serious dose of dark blue. And of course, the styling combinations were brilliant, with smart layering of dresses and pants topped with sophisticated eyewear and teased hair.

Bahebbak Morocco by Ricardo Ramos de Leon

After the success of his Reconstructing Klederdacht collection, Berlin-based designer Ricardo Ramos de Leon is moving forward with his new couture line for S/S 2012 titled Bahebbak Morocco. Inspired by the exotic mystery of the Moroccan culture and its traditional costumes, the collection features versatile but ultra-luxurious and special pieces, really well-made with extravagant and rich detailing.

Voguing

  

A rare documentary film with footage from 1989 about Voguing, world's most famous dance form. Born during the 60's,  influenced by the Black and Latino gay scene and evolving by the late 80's, this bizarre but magnificent dance involved a unique combination of music, fashion, extreme model-like poses and extravagant costumes.
